Hi, all, I went to the Romantic Times conference book signing day in Orlando on Saturday and I really had a nice time. Got to see and smooze with my favorite author, and I am proud to say friend, Roxanne St. Claire. She is as captivating in person as she writes. And I visited with Joan Johnston, who writes great Westerns, Heather Graham, who can chill your spine with her suspense novels and who also writes wonderful historicals. All three writers are Florida writers, so look them up in the bookstores. I promise you won’t be disappointed when you buy their novels. Also met Alessia Brio, who is the art director at Mundania Publishing. I am hoping to have her design some covers for my books, if Mundania accepts my submissions. Also got a nice photo of Piers Anthony, who is well respected at Mundania and by his fans. Overall, the conference atmosphere is not my bag, but I know a lot of authors and aspiring authors just love that kind of organized chaos:-) I should have some photos up on my web site in the next few days. I am not an avid photographer either. Take care until next time

I went to the Romantic Times conference…
Monday, April 27th, 2009I just love all those positive comments
Friday, April 24th, 2009Thanks to all of you. Fiona, The Ultimate Betrayal is already available at www.newconceptspublishing.com I am advertising it currently on www.theromancestudio.com as well. It’s a pleasure to review other authors and I always hope my reviews will add to their sales. I am looking forward to your next book, but I am hoping that Lady Claire’s Cavalier is doing well in the meantime. Lady Claire is available through www.awe-struck.net I will also post my experience at the Romantic Times conference in Orlando, Florida. I am just going for the booksigning.
Gotta love my web mistress:-)
Tuesday, April 21st, 2009I so appreciate the built-in safety measure of being able to delete blogs, which serve no purpose. Anyway, just a quick note. If you are looking for a short, satisfying read, something that is sensual, sexy and teasing, go to www.thedarkcastlelords.com and look for Kate Hofman’s Summer Solstice. It’s an e-book. And while you are browsing through the DCL website, you will find plenty of other interesting novels. Take care
Happy Friday!
Friday, April 17th, 2009Happy Friday. Just had a nice surprise. My historical novel Bewitching Angel, available at www.firedrakesweyr.com has just received 4-1/2 cherries from Long and Short Erotic Romance. The nicest surprises are those that you don’t expect at all. Have a great weekend.

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009Hi all, Pocket Star books will release a new novel by Janet Chapman in May. Moonlight Warrior is a paranormal romance that is sure to knock your socks off. It carries a poignant message in the subplot for those of us who face hard choices, when it comes to loved ones who battle Alzheimer’s. I couldn’t put it down. It is truly a must read.
Good morning!
Tuesday, April 14th, 2009Good morning, all. I know this will be a slow process to get people to visit, but I am hoping to attract lots of traffic and expand my reviews. Got to run just now, but thanks for your comments. More later
Hi there!
Monday, April 13th, 2009Hi, hope everyone had a nice Easter. I am pooped, but happy. Anyway, I promised you some reviews of upcoming novels. Remember, reviews are a matter of taste. I don’t publish pans. I believe every author fills a special niche. My recent favorite is an upcoming novel, due out in May by Sherrylyn Kenyon and Diane Love. Whispered Lies is a romantic suspense and will cost you $15. Worth every penny. Sultry passion simmers just beneath the surface of deceit. Breathtaking, heart stopping, Whispered Lies is a little piece of heaven to dream on. It is a Pocket romance, look for it in stores in May. And have patience with my first blogs:-) Take care
New blog!
Saturday, April 11th, 2009Hi, everyone. thanks to my talented web mistress from The Romance Studio, I am now up and running with this new blog. It is still in a learning phase for me, so bear with me. I am hoping to keep you informed about my own upcoming novels and those I review for various publishers. I have been doing reviews for almost 10 years and had my own column in the Winter Haven, Fl News Chief until the ecomony took a downturn. So if you read this, let me know if there is anything specific you would like to read, and I will try to give you an honest answer. So for now, take care!
